Limitation
of statistics
The scope of statistics is very wide and it has
great utility. But statistics has limitations, some of which are discussed
below:
1. Statistics
can analysis an aggregated observation or data: any statistics is a collection of
data. Individual observation does not belong to statistics. Hence statistics
analysis a collection of data and enlighten the overall estimated result.
2. Statistics
describes by numerical information: Statistics is an exposure of the numerical
data. If it is not possible to express in a figure. Statistics fail to make a
comparative study between rich and poor, sound and ill etc. abstact topics.
3. Statistics
given only an overall measures: Statistics give us only an average or overall
estimation. It is almost impossible.
